Another beautiful scenic shot from my weekend trip down coastal Highway 1 in Northern California. This photo was taken of the coastline at Bixby Creek Bridge, near Big Sur 120 miles south of San Francisco. According to Wikipedia, the bridge is 714 feet long, 280 feet high and was built in 1932. It is supposed to be “one of the most photographed features on the West Coast” due to the beautiful coastal scenery shown here and its central location on the California coastal highway.

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008Big Sur Coast – Part 1
Sunday, August 31st, 2008For the Labour Day weekend, I drove down California Highway 1 from Monterey to Pismo Beach. The above photo was taken along the Big Sur coast, just south of Carmel-By-The-Sea, California. I’m still out (writing this from a hotel) so I’ll have more photos to post this coming week once I get home and have more time to sort through my photos.
