I captured photos of these lovely red & yellow liles recently in Sausalito, California along the waterfront. I found the color of these Lilies quite striking. I have photos of a few other beautiful flowers taken in the same area which I’ll post another time, or you can view them now in the photo gallery.
Here’s another interesting architectural shot, similar to the photo from the Westfield Shopping Centre. This time it’s a photo of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington from a trip I took there earlier this spring. The lower part of the needle has a lot of glass, making for nice reflections. I took this looking straight up near the entrance of the building, just before sunset.

Welcome! This is the first textual post on my new blog. I’ve been thinking about setting up a site like this for some time, but have never seemed to be able to generate enough content to make it worthwhile. It is my recent renewed interest in digital photography that finally pushed me ahead, so I’ll be using this blog mostly as a place to showcase some of my photographs, both older and newer work, and (hopefully!) as a result my photography skills should improve in doing so. I hope to share any special techniques I learn over time to produce my more interesting photographs as well, so that anyone reading this blog might learn from it as well.

Here are some photos I took of a marina in Sausalito, California (just north of San Francisco, directly across the Golden Gate Bridge) at the end of June. It’s a beautiful place, with many beautiful boats!
