Saturday, April 4th, 2009Beach Fencepost
Monday, October 13th, 2008I was in San Francisco at Crissy Field on Sunday to watch the Blue Angels and the airshow as part of 2008 Fleet Week. While walking alone the shoreline trail I saw this rough fence post leaning to one side with the Golden Gate bridge in the background. The bay was filled with boats that day to watch the festivities above, you can still see some in the photo despite most having left shortly after the airshow ended.

Sunday, October 12th, 2008Bixby Creek Bridge, Big Sur
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008Another beautiful scenic shot from my weekend trip down coastal Highway 1 in Northern California. This photo was taken of the coastline at Bixby Creek Bridge, near Big Sur 120 miles south of San Francisco. According to Wikipedia, the bridge is 714 feet long, 280 feet high and was built in 1932. It is supposed to be “one of the most photographed features on the West Coast” due to the beautiful coastal scenery shown here and its central location on the California coastal highway.
