These windmills catch your eye as you enter the harbour of the Greek island of Mykonos. The windmills stand on a hill at the end of the cove above Chora village and are visible from most locations in the village. Most windmills on Mykonos were built by the Venetians in the 16th century and were used to grind wheat for hundreds of years, however today they are principally a tourist attraction. It is a beautiful location from which to get a view of the island and from which to watch the sunset.
